We started the trip in Malaga in the lead up to Christmas with the most impressive festive lights. Our next stop was Granada, enjoying the outstanding Alhambra Palaces. Toledo was our last stop on our journey, the station is spectacular in its vast Moorish style architecture and worth a coffee to just enjoy the surroundings.
Prague-Vienna-Bratislava-Budapest

Picking up in Prague from our trip last year through Germany. Travelling through Czechoslovakia we enjoyed beautiful scenery in the South. We spent two days in Vienna visiting the historical centre and relaxing in the famous Pratten Park. Onwards to Bratislava, with cobbled back streets and the castle overlooking the Danube. Lastly we completed this trip in Budapest. The Pest side of the river was very busy but found Buda more green and historically more interesting.
Cologne-Hamburg-Copenhagen-Malmo-Stockholm

Starting in Cologne on a balmy October day to Hamburg. We visited the Miniatur Wunderland the greatest and best model railway in the world. The attention to detail is beyond belief. Next we boarded the "sea-Train" to Copenhagen, one of only a few trains left in Europe which rolls on to a ferry and rolls off the other end! Arrival at Copenhagen Central Station we were greeted by a old loco in steam with 8 carriages. Traveling through Sweden by train, was one of the best ways to enjoy the Autumn colours. In Sweden we visited the Vasa Museum a restoration of wooden war ship resurrected from the sea after 333 years.
